Our Story

 

Hello, LFB fam! My name is Vanessa Joaquin and I am the owner and founder of Little Firsts Baby Company  (LFB Co. for short). My son, Jacob, inspired the idea of owning a children's clothing shop when he was about six months old.  At the time, he was a brand ambassador for a small shop.  I loved shopping from small shops because not many of the brick and mortar stores carried boy clothing that I personally loved.  I loved dressing him up and I would keep telling myself that I should start a shop of my own. 

Having my Bachelors in Business, I had always hoped to one day open my own business. I never knew what  kind of business I would like.  Throughout the years I've bounced off ideas to my husband of potential businesses I would like.  None of them really stuck until the idea of a children's clothing store came to mind.  After some praying and a lot of back and forth with myself, I finally stepped out in faith and opened up this shop.  It has been such a labor of love, but it's been so much fun seeing my vision come together.
